The Blubber Monster was created at the initiative of the World Port Days. This game will work until the end of November! Discover the secrets of the port of Rotterdam with this interactive route from the Maritime Museum Rotterdam to the Parkkade, full of assignments, games and Augmented Reality. You will learn more about the port of Rotterdam and its professions!

The mud monster is hungry for sand and as a result the Nieuwe Maas is slipping further and further. The monster lives on the bottom of the Nieuwe Maas and attacks (historical) ships, the quays and the foot of the Erasmus Bridge.
Along the way, Professor Plons (known from the Maritime Museum Rotterdam) and Mussie (in Augmented Reality/famous from Must See) help you to defeat the monster.
Find letters
The locations in the route contain information about the point itself and contain a command:
– search AR for a letter that is hidden
– watch a video in AR or a 'regular' video and receive a letter
– answer the history question about a particular location and get the letter
Treasure map
The treasure map (printed) can be received at the following locations:
– at the Maritime Museum Rotterdam
– at Port Pavilion in the Leuve Pavilion on the Schiedamsedijk
– at the info point of the World Port Days at Wilemsplein
You can start the route wherever you want, but visit all locations to find all the letters!
