Welcome to the Mystical Tour of Rotterdam Monuments! The route starts here on the Rechter Rottekade at house number 407. The Koopmanshuis is the oldest mansion on the Rotte, if not the center of Rotterdam. She may be a little younger than the Schielandhuis, but it doesn't make much difference.
The house has survived bombings, natural disasters and post-war demolition and reconstruction. The turbulent stream of time had no hold on her.
She is old and few in Rotterdam can tell such an old story as the Koopmanshuis, but today she tells a new story…
