Experience the port of Rotterdam as it is intended. So go boating! Sail with the Fast Ferry FutureLand. This interactive information center about the construction of the Second Maasvlakte is very popular and teaches young and old everything about this new port area.
From the panorama deck you have a fantastic view of the new terminals and the beating heart of the port of Rotterdam. The information center is free. For a small fee you can board the FutureLand Ferry and sail past the terminals to discover how high the immense container cranes work.
There are a lot of seals on the Second Maasvlakte? Take a good look around you and maybe you will such a picture.
Go by public transport. Then you immediately see the whole port, and you can sail twice. First take the train to Hoek van Holland Haven. There you can switch to the Fast Ferry. The sailing times of the ferry link up perfectly with the arrival and departure times of the train. Are you with more than four people? Our guide is happy to guide you! I thought I'd be ready in a few hours, but had to be turned off at five o'clock, hahaha. A very nice trip, especially if you do the bus tour and the cruise. And another cafeteria with a nice terrace too!
Very cool! On the one hand, you really get to know the ports and in FutureLand they also have fat installations.
